While a pair of tracksuit bottoms from your favourite sports brand may be comfortable to wear, the truths behind their manufacturing are not so comfortable to swallow.

Thousands upon thousands of children slave away in Indian sweatshops for barely enough money to survive, working in incredibly harsh conditions, often in blistering heat, creating clothes that end up on the shelves of major retailers all over the Western world.

We call for the British government to intervene and to publicly denounce the system that allows for children to be forced into such adverse situations.

Sweatshops constitute a serious violation of international human rights law and they must be put to an end.

So sign this petition and help us get the attention of the government and hopefully, we can work to stop this barbaric practise today.
