#West Dunbartonshire council/ housing capital program
Target:
100 signatures
Region:
United Kingdom

The information that I have is a personal one. Due to the fact I've been living well over the fuel poverty line for a number of years, Wdc have refused to include my property in the existing program as well as other properties that don't have insulation and have problems with the render.

The Clydebank post have also highlighted the housing department's underspend last year while all these properties were in this condition.

There are too many people living in fuel poverty in west Dunbartonshire due to the housing conditions.

Although there has been progress in this matter due to the external wall insulation and re-rendering program, but there are still a number of properties waiting to be upgraded. And according to the clydebank post the wdc housing failed to spend £8 million say year! Money that should have been spent on social housing.

It is time for the people of Clydebank, Dumbarton and surrounding areas to make a stand and demand our homes meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standards by this year, not next.
