Background (Preamble):
Whereas since 1948 when Israel was recognized as a sovereign state, it has been under constant attack principally from the Islamic world;
Whereas the principal problems for the Israelis have come from Muslim states and movements;
And whereas there is a rising tide of neo-anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism among "intellectuals;"

Petition:
We the undersigned call upon the Muslim states to cease and desist all internal and external aggression against Israel and its right to exist and prosper.
We further call upon the United States, the United Kingdom, and all other rational sovereign nations of the world to support this policy.
