The project is all about the sustainable development and management of a Palm Oil Plantation, precisely in the South West Region of Cameroon named, Sustainable Oils Cameroon - Herakles Farms.
It is a project saluted, supported and needed by 100% of the local community stakeholders, civil society and dully endorsed by the Government of the Republic of Cameroon.
People of the South West Region accept the initiative to be enthusiastically sociable and environmentally sustainable in the right place at the correct time.
We, the undersigned, call on selfish groups and foreign exporters of Palm Oil to stop circulating wrong news against Herakles Farms Initiative in Cameroon.
We support the Herakles Farms Initiative in Cameroon, as Cameroonians have already secured numerous direct and indirect job opportunities from the project.
With the growing population and the increasing demand trends for edible oil and other palm oil by-products, Cameroon like other African countries not only depend on the importation of palm oil but are opening up frontiers for partnerships and capital in support of any sustainable European-Africa or US-Africa initiative that will guarantee food security, create employment and ensures a multitude of socioeconomic impacts within the context of a sustainable perspective for the next generations.
No right thinking mind in Cameroon or Africa can disagree to not be part of this excellent idea!
