Petition now closed due to the fact eBay will not listen to sellers, instead go to uk.ebid.net an alternative to eBay with everything that both buyers and sellers can get.
From 15th May onwards sellers were unable to leave neutral or negative feedback leaving sellers on ebay open to abuse from buyers who would bid, win then not pay, ebay say's its to protect buyers from bad sellers, but what about bad buyers?
ebay seem to think there are no bad buyers just bad sellers. So please sign this petition if you would like to make a difference. We need 67,000 signatures.
We the undersigned believe that the new rule changes to the eBay feedback system are wrong. They persecute all sellers because of a few bad apples.
Before the removal of sellers feedback rights, both buyers and sellers had to consider the implication of leaving unnecessary negative or neutral feedback.
Now buyers can leave whatever feedback they like, and the seller can do nothing except complain to eBay. We have lost the ability to see if a buyer is, for example, prone to late payment.
We do not believe that eBay is plagued by sellers leaving unfair feedback.
We do believe that the removal of sellers feedback privileges is an unfair persecution of ALL sellers.
We therefore request that eBay returns to its old feedback method for both buyers and sellers.
