We the undersigned tax-payers are requesting the release of Richard Forrest #09066-085 whom is a Washington state resident being held in Tuson, Arizona Correctional facility.
He has served 18 years of a 24 year sentence for conspiracy to deal meth. (Judge Whaley). Richard had no priors and turned himself in. Since his incarceration, Richard was the victim in an awful Kiln fire (gross negligence on the prisons part). He also had to have "stints" put in his heart, which failed, leading to a quadruple by-pass. This all costing the tax-payers a very large sum of money. Money that could be better spent elsewhere. (Education, police, fire) Richard also lost a son and was not allowed to attend the funeral services, even with the cost of a police escort paid.
The length of his sentence is not given to those who commit murder and or homicide. Richard is not a violent person, he is a good man, father, grand-father, son, and brother. Richard will be a productive member of society once he is released. Richard has served more than enough time for the crime he was convicted of. Please, please release Richard Forrest and stop wasting tax $'s.
