Grievences of students ragarding the CAPS training for N6 students who suppose to recieve this training, but the education department decided to take away it from all colleges (letter from wced).
Students are not happy with the idea of this happening because it was misleading information in the prospectus saying that students will be be able to teach in a Grade R post and teaching as grade R teachers.
WCED has decided that this year all that would be changed, and becuase of this current N6 students is being affect by this decision being implemented.
We the undersigned current students at College of Cape Town studying Early Childhood Development (ECD), call upon the Higher Education Department to eliminate the decision upon taking away CAPS training for N6 students.
