I am suggesting that we place Domestic Violence Education into school systems for children aged fourteen to eighteen. One in four woman are physically abused in America.
Most young boys learn how to treat woman through society and home examples. Boys who have fathers who abuse thier mothers often become violent offenders themselves.
By creating an education system that teaches domestic violence, and shows young men how to treat woman, we are creating a counter to their "learned" behavior.
We want Sentor George Runner to push legislation that creates education systems teaching domestic violence.
Children between ages fourteen and eighteen will learn cycles of abuse, Satistics, and the mind set behind men who abuse.
The Domestic Abuse program at Peirce Community College, the only of its kind, Will be revised and distributed throughout California Schools.
