Background (Preamble):
We demand a greater and more prestigious venue such as The Royal Festival Hall as the site for our graduation.
Petition:
We demand a greater and more prestigious venue such as The Royal Festival Hall (Waterloo) as the site for our graduation.
The Rose Theatre (in Kingston) as the venue for our graduation is outright insulting. We began our studies under the impression that we would graduate at the Royal Albert Hall which is prestigious and internationally recognised, it has since then been moved to The Royal Festival Hall, which is a fair substitute. However, The Rose Theatre is far from comparable.
We, the undersigned, hereby call on Kingston University to keep the graduation ceremony at a more prestigious venue.
