PETEKMA, the Malaysian Taxi, Limousine and Rental Car Drivers and Operators Association, has appealed to the government seeking a ban on Grab on the grounds that it affects the livelihood of taxi drivers nationwide.
This petition to the Ministry of Transport is made on the premise that Grab and other ride-hailing services provide an economical and professional alternative mode of transportation, which the public have welcomed thus far. Furthermore, the choice to engage their preferred mode of transportation should be left to the consumer.
Please sign this petition if you DO NOT want Grab or other ride-hailing services to be banned.
