DJ Simmons to become head coach of Halifax Varsity Wrestling team for 2019

I would like to ask the residents of Halifax, PA to support in moving DJ Simmons from Junior High wrestling Head Coach to Varsity wrestling Head Coach for 2019.
As a parent of a high school child, I had dealings with the current Varsity wrestling coach (Zerby). When by regulations I had the right to hold my child back at Junior High level, coach Zerby told me he wouldn't allow it and didn't want to loose another wrestler this season. During the two week period my child was under Zerby coaching, he feels he did not learn new techniques or build on his current ones. During most wrestling meets you will not hear Zerby coach the wrestlers from the side lines, he sits quietly and watches. The varsity wrestling team has been to 4 tournaments so far this year alone and only three of the wrestlers have placed in one tournament.
I am here today petitioning to move DJ Simmons (Junior High Head Coach) to the Varsity wrestling Head Coach position for the 2019 season.

Now with that being said our Junior High wrestling team has been to four tournaments this year. And each tournament has had a least three of the wrestlers place in each tournament. The Junior High team has several first year wrestlers this year, to me as a parent that speaks volumes of the Junior High wrestling coaching staff. Coach Simmons coaches from the side lines and makes sure the wrestlers are prepared for every match. Simmons holds pride in teaching his wrestlers and abiding by the rules and giving their all to each match. Simmons and Enders are very supportive coaches and take pride in each in every wrestler.
