11/3/2014 Permits were issued for a 38 condominium townhouse in various 3 & 4 unit style building configurations.

2/22/16 An application for 38 rooftop decks was submitted as a substantial conformity It was determined that this was a major deviation for the originally approved project.

Brian Rupp and the developer he works for are the same parties that will be creating Pontos in Carlsbad with over 1000 units so do not think of this as a small operation. Morse street was purchased for 2 million dollars. Just do the math and I think that you will see that the money to be made is significant without decks and how much more should be taken from the coastal sleepy quality of life we have taken ownership in 38 non inclusionary three story town homes was originally an inusionary low income apartment complex and the developer switched it to the currently approved project only a few Months before going to the commission for approval.

This is now another 11th hour change from the ORIGINALLY APPROVED PROJECT.

THIS ADDS AN ENTIRE LEVEL OF PRIVATE LIVING SPACE. It adds OVER 22,000 square feet to the project.

WE THE PEOPLE ASK THAT no further entitlements be considered and approved for this project.

We, the undersigned, call on the City of Oceanside Planning Commission & City Council to DENY the APPLICATION for the addition of 38 rooftop decks atop the Morse Street townhouses.

We call for the Council to support the South Oceanside neighborhoods FORMAL request to deny ANY roof top useable space on the project and any further entitlements to this developer for this property.
