In keeping with the recognized Christian (creationists) holidays of Christmas and Easter, I petition that in a secular society like Australia, we also recognize Darwin Day an an official public holiday, too.

We the undersigned call on the Australia Federal Parliament to recognize Darwin Day, Feb 12, as an official public holiday.
Since Australia, as a secular society, already celebrates Christian creationists holidays of Christmas and Easter, it is only fair and just that we also celebrate the official evolutionist holiday of Charles Darwin's birthday.
