Since at least 2004, armed militias have been conducting genocide against innocent civilians in the Darfur region of Sudan. African Union troops are on the ground providing protection to at least some civilians.
We want to ask the Cleveland Heights City Council to call on the President and Congress to aid these peacekeepers with finanical assistance.

We, the undersigned citizens of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, ask that our City Council pass a Resolution calling on the President and Congress of the United States to approve substantial and meaningful financial assistance to the African Union peacekeeping troops that are protecting civilians in the Darfur region of Sudan.
