Military personnel and dependants that occupy services accomodation should have the right to request quicker response times to faults with quarters. We should have higher standards of repairs and more reliability from contractors.

We do not want to continue receiving poor response times. At current, 10 days after initial call to MODern Housing call centre for routine repairs. Also 5 days for urgent repairs. We would like it reduced to 7 days for routine repairs (weekdays) and 3 days for urgent ( this including weekends).

We are fed up of sub standard repairs that are quick fixes and not safe and want the repairs done properly in the first place where materials are available.

We, the undersigned, call on the MOD to provide us with more reliable contractor(s) for repairs to Married Quarters and other military buildings or request they improve their response times and standard of work.

We deserve reliable contractors as serving personnel of the UK armed British Forces and their dependants.
