This petition is aimed at Coventry University with the aim of getting the staff to examine the add+vantage scheme.
As a student of Coventry University I feel the add+vantage scheme is detrimental to my studies. It takes time away from my degree work.
I am not alone, the grades for ELP and other work for the modules have been wrong and this has led to my place on my degree being threatened, which was only sorted out once I personally brought it to the attention of the add+vantage staff.

The purpose of this petition is to try and get those in charge to review the mandatory status of the modules. If those who feel they have something to learn from a module want to do it, great. But graduation should not depend on courses that mostly have nothing to do with our degree subject. How someone doing Illustration would need to be versed in Second Life, I don't know.
Please, if you feel strongly enough, sign this petition. It will be sent to the head of add+vantage and the Deans.
