The 2009 Iranian presidential election was held on June 12th, 2009. Reports indicate a large scale election fraud in favor of the incumbent president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Iranian people have come to streets in large numbers to protest the results.
Government militia forces are using extreme force to suppress the crowd. Among the most outspoken and most severely hit groups are university students all around Iran that are under attack and need your help.
We, a group of Iranian students studying outside of Iran, are trying to raise international awareness and support for our brothers and sisters who are under violent attacks in Iran. We are calling on people everywhere to join us in showing sympathy and support for Iranian students who are currently being arrested, beaten, and injured in their own country by their own government.
We have created an emergency website and a facebook group to gather all the evidence that demonstrate the clear atrocities. Join us at this address and sign the petition to condemn this violence.
