4/16/2013: Brian has been refused Compassionate Release the reason given was:
BOARD OF PAROLE HEARINGS : V-98513 Penal Code section 1170(e) Decline to recommend to the court that the prisoner’s sentence be recalled.
The Board finds the conditions under which the prisoner would be released or receive treatment would pose a threat to public safety due to the extent of his continued mobility and his validation as a member of the Hell’s Angels Motorcycle Club.
It makes me very sad as a human and a Chaplain to see such injustice. No one should be held just because they have continued mobility and only months to live. Where is their compassion for Brian and his family who only want to him home to remain his final days with family.
