25 years ago the stardust fire claimed the lives of 48 young people in the worst single tragedy in Irish history.
The owners of the buiding at the time of the fire was the Butterly Family. They have now refurbished the building and are preparing to open the complex again on the site of the fire.

We, the undersigned, ask the Government to stop the reopening of this public house.
We wish to show our support for the families of the victims and we abhor the reopening of this venue under any name, at any time.
