Wanda Coach operates an out of compliance bus stop and taxi stand in the parking lot of their ticket office along Chamblee-Tucker Road, in the North Hills Shopping Center located in the Embry Hills area of unincorporated DeKalb County. This repeated, flagrant violation of zoning represents not only a violation of the predominantly residential, suburban nature of the area but also presents a growing nuisance and safety hazard for homeowners, residents, workers in the area, shoppers in the area, and code-compliant area businesses.
We, the undersigned, call upon the DeKalb County Code Enforcement Office and DeKalb County Commission to exercise all power and authority given to it to force Wanda Bus from operating any ad hoc transit facility or bus stop in an unapproved location. We further ask that if Wanda Bus continues to violate zoning that their business license be revoked.
