We, the employees of Viper Taxi, Lloyd Taxi and Diamond Taxi, request that the City Of Lloydminster approve a starting meter rate of $3.25. The current starting rate is $2.50. This price has remained the same for 8 years now, and is currently the lowest starting rate in Canada. Once lease fees, as well as consistently rising gas prices are paid, this makes for a very meager living.
