Petition Background (Preamble):
Our neighborhood is used by commuters who park in the area in order to take the 39 bus into the Longwood Medical Area.
Parking on Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays during the day has become problematic since Street Cleaning was initiated (with no neighborhood meeting or notice given in advance to residents so that they could inform the city of the impact this would have on those living on and near these streets).
We are hoping that the elimination of street cleaning will help.

By signing this petition, I understand that I am requesting that the City of Boston eliminate street cleaning on Castleton and Zamora Streets and that these streets will no longer receive scheduled street cleanings on alternating Wednesdays from April 1 through November 30 each year.
I also understand that, in the past, flooding routinely occurred in the lower ground areas of Castleton Street and that this has resolved/improved since bi-weekly street cleaning was instated on Castleton and Zamora Streets.
