Camp Verde, Arizona has a unique history dating back to the 1860's. It was established as a military fort on the banks of the Verde River to protect settlers. Camp Verde's history has deep roots in agriculture. Today Camp Verde's points of pride include Houser Farms, Pecan Lane and Fort Verde State Historic Park. There has been proposed zoning change to a lot in the neighborhood at the Gateway to Pecan Lane to allow outside development of an apartment complex.
We the undersigned oppose the zoning change allowing development of a multiplex on Parcel #404-20-041L located in Yavapai County. In the interest of historical preservation, maintaining agricultural production, preventing excess traffic, congestion and devaluation of the area we demand zoning change be denied.
