City of Boston Department of Transportation: Instate Resident Parking on Bynner, Castleton, and Zamora Streets in Jamaica Plain, MA
Petition Background (Preamble):
We are hoping that instating resident parking will help.
I have read all information pertaining to this on the City of Boston website: http://www.cityofboston.gov/Parking/residentparking/ and understand that:
ALL outstanding City of Boston parking tickets must be paid before applying for or renewing a resident parking permit.
Resident parking permits are provided at NO CHARGE for qualified residents.
Permits are distributed by the Office of the Parking Clerk, Room 224, City Hall. Residents, or their representatives, may apply in person or online.
I also understand that Resident Parking in my neighborhood does NOT restrict parking to residents living on or near my street. ALL residents of Jamaica Plain (with Resident Parking Permits) will be permitted to park on Castleton, Zamora, and Bynner Streets even if they do not live on or near these streets.
I also understand that the City of Boston does not provide guest or visitor parking passes and that guests and visitors will be permitted to park ONLY in designated Visitor Parking areas or on nearby streets that do not require a Resident Parking Permit.
I also understand that my car must be registered in the state of Massachusetts in order to apply for a Resident Parking Permit.
