Background (Preamble):
The amount of deaths as a result of gun violence in Chicago has been at his it's highest in the past four years and because of the gun laws especially the second amendment, makes it easy for anyone to get access to a gun.
In 2008 McDonald v. Chicago resulted in the Supreme Court ruling that the personal right to keep and bear arms applies not only to the federal government and its jurisdictions but to state and local governments as well.
However due to the rise in violence in urban areas I believe Chicago gun laws should be revised.
