Target:
UK Prime Minister
Region:
United Kingdom

In the UK we have a 'choice' of two people we might not even like or support. There has become little difference between the two candidates in recent times, so that it is more or less down to a choice of tie colour.

No real Opposition has existed since Jeremy Corbyn. Under a Proportional Representation system people would be earning votes by helping those around them not just inheriting votes.

Britain is a hugely diverse country and there needs to be a better reflecting of this in Parliament.

The people want more choice over who runs the country, so that each vote increases the number of seats this person has in Parliament. Jeremy Corbyn still has huge popularity in the UK and has just one seat in Parliament. He should have the number of seats that reflects his popularity.

A system of Proportional Representation would give smaller parties a better opportunity to represent the people who vote for them, and would give people who help their communities an opportunity to campaign for important issues in Parliament.

It would act as a true Opposition, where one currently exists in name only.

The current system does not favour popular figures like Jeremy Corbyn or Nigel Farage.
