Ice Cream is a delicious way to cool off and enjoy a great tasting treat any timeeat, especially during the hot summer months here in Canada.
Our Great Country has such a short time during the year when we can get out and enjoy summer fun, traditionally and culturally ICE CREAM has been part of our summers since it was first introduced to the Canadian market.
If people have health issues, there are diabetic and low fat options available as well.
Ice Cream does provide some calcium and if there is 1 special day every summer that can Segway into special 'Ice Cream Festivals' and special promotions from Ice Cream purveyor each summer....what is the harm?
Frivoulis sounding? Perhaps, life is short though, and I don't think it hurts Canada to take a light hearted approach to something as yummy and fun as ICE CREAM!
We, the undersigned, call on the Canadian Federal Government to legislate an Official Ice Cream day nationwide, just for an extra light hearted and fun addition to our relatively short Canadian summers.
