WEST DAPTO/HORSLEY OVERPASS, Wollongong City Council's inability to implement correct infrastructure to sustain harmony in the environment of a thriving suburb/economy, and their complete lack of of vision for this growing community.
This bypass has been planned for 20 years and yet they still find excuses or better yet more financially viable ideas for themselves.
We the people of Horsley (West Dapto) have waited far to long for our overpass or extra route to Horsley, when it rains heavily we are trapped from work or school commitments.
There are only two ways in or out of our suburb and yet we are expecting 50,000 more people to settle here in the next 10 years. Where is the infrastructure or might I say common sense.
Although the proposed route goes right past our newly built public school which will increase traffic flow past or school we still support it, does the need not feel strong still. Our newly appointed council thinks not for our bypass has once again been put on the back burners so they can spend money on the Blue Mile which I might ad will only help those who have real estate in Wollongong which will be those people voting for it.
