Petition text:
We, the undersigned, wish to register our protest at the imminent closure of Broadfield House Glass Museum, Kingswinford, West Midlands, UK as proposed by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. Bordering Stourbridge, historically the centre of the country's glass industry, the museum is highly regarded as a national centre. Internationally renowned, the museum is home to unrivalled collections of British glass and unique archive material.
Any premature decision which may lead to the loss or the reduction of the facilities held at Broadfield House would be a national disgrace.
No change should proceed without full consultation on the financial and practical considerations of a move.
