Within the motocross community we are loosing riders due to having had their motocross bikes stolen and as we all know not everyone has the means to replace such an expensive item.
Currently any recoverd bikes that dont get traced back to their rightful owners are either crushed, disposed of or shipped abroad.
We would like to propose that once all avenues have been exhasted in trying to return bikes to their rightful owners that they are serviced, data tagged, registered with DVLA and re introduced back into the motocross community.
We would also like the opportunity to offer victims of bike theft the opportunity to purchase a bike of the same cc that was taken from them at a minimal fee, having the opportunity to progress with this will keep motocross going and members riding.

We the undersigned agree with and fully support the proposal to prevent recovered motocross bikes from being crushed, disposed of or sent to other countries.
We fully support the idea of such bikes being returned to the motocross community.
