Thanks to all who supported our campaign to bring "BELLA" the movie to Sonora, and while the petition didn't in the end bring the movie to Sonora, it did help us raise awareness. "Bella" did come near to us in the Modesto area, so we can be proud of all we did, as well as our face to face petition drive at Sonora Stadium 10 theatre which gathered over 400 signatures in a few short hours. Thank you all so very much again!
Regal Cinemas, owned by Phillip Anschutz, in conjunction with Mike Campbell, CEO, along with major partner Coke, is failing to bring the movie "BELLA" to the Regal Cinemas Sonora Stadium 10 theatre, in Sonora, CA.
Regal Cinemas has only in recent years emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and are currently ignoring the market demand for "BELLA" in the central California region, including the rural foothills.
We believe that this is based on profit/loss of current box office receipts nationwide, rather than on local market demand for an independent film of moral value.
We, the undersigned, pro-life supporters of all religious affiliations, call upon Regal Cinemas owner, Phillip Anshcutz and CEO, Mike Campbell, in conjunction with business partner Coke, to bring the movie "BELLA" to the Regal Cinemas Sonora Stadium 10 theatre, located in Sonora, CA.
"BELLA" is an independent movie produced by Eustace and Sean Wolfington, directed by Alejandro Monteverde, starring Eduardo Verastegui and Tammy Blanchard, about the human condition, and how we all face life-changing events at any given moment in time that can impact someone's life forever.
