The new lunchtimes aimed to lessen overcrowding, which it has helped but also brought new issues: There are less spaces for social congregation, less activities/facilities at lunch, and less opportunities to speak to teachers, not every one wants to spend their lunch times in the canteen, and the number of bells confuses some people, and for the year 10's who have friends in year 11 they cannot speak to each other at lunch as they are different lunchtimes separating them.
