The health and wellness of children in the State of West Virginia is amongst the lowest in the United States.
Children in this state exercise less and eat more than students in other states, resulting in them being over weight.
Suncrest Middle School is a community school, with many students living in close proximity to it. This is a leading academic school, having a bicycle rack at the school will help students to get more exercise and promote better fitness and athleticism.
We, the undersigned, call on the administration of Suncrest Middle School to purchase a bicycle rack to be placed at the school so that students can ride their bicycles to school and securely lock them up.
The purchase of this bicycle rack will make it easier for students to ride their bicycles to school and will help promote health and wellness, and independance amongst the students.
Further, a bicycle rack will make it easier for students to ride bicycles to school and may also help to reduce overcrowding on buses.
