Effective March 1,2010 Sheriff Ortiz wants to stop allowing Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies from working part-times at nightclubs and bars which will take away extra income from deputies and double, possibly triple the call volume for San Antonio police officers.
I am asking all Bexar County deputies and San Antonio police officers, as well as bar and nightclub owners to join me in keeping Bexar County deputies at bars and nightclubs.
