Background (Preamble):
The Telecasting of Rugby League is scattered. We have the Rugby League being broadcasted by Channel Nine as well as Foxtel which causes problems. There are fans missing out on watching games either because they can't afford Foxtel or because Channel 9 does not cover the Rugby League at a normal time such as in Victoria who doesn't get Friday night matches until after midnight.
Aside from this, quite often during the Channel 9 coverage of the Rugby League on a Friday night and Sunday afternoon we often hear arguments, mainly started by Phil Gould. Although it adds interest to the matching having small debates, quite often Phil Gould gets carried away in wanting to continue the debate and takes away from what is happening in the game.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, ask the NRL and Channel 9 to make changes so that ALL fans have equal opportunity to view matches at a normal time and on free to air.
Further more, we ask for better commentating on Channel 9, free from argumentative, biased opinions.
