Background (Preamble):
As you are aware of, West Nile virus season is upon us again and we are concerned of the possible breeding areas in our city.
This petition is to ask the city to install culvert pipes and cover the ditches along County Road 459, because of the dangers of standing water in these ditches being a breeding area for mosquitos, not to mention the flooding of our yards, homes, cars.

We the people of the City of Dayton, Liberty County, Texas petition the City of Dayton, the County of Liberty and the State of Texas for relief from the poor road conditions in our city.
In addition, we petition for relief from the unacceptable water drainage due to lack of or erosion of bar-ditches and culverts.
