Bel Air Stoplight Needed

The intersection of Idlewild and Main street across from Bel Air Middle, it way too crowded and not safe at all for buses, students walking or being driven to school.

I know this is true because my step-brother and i walk to and from school and we have to wait forever to get across and we almost get run over every time. it is very dangerous, and if we had a traffic light we would be safer crossing the street and it would help police officers to catch the speeders in that area.

I have seen very many speeders in just this one week of 9-12-11/9-16-11, and it is very dangerous to our education. in light of the recent 10 year anniversary of 9/11 these people lost their lives due to terrorism. We need to live for them and the children that died, by not losing our lives as well when we are going to school. not to mention all the soldiers losing their lives in Iraq, and Afghanistan they give their lives so we don't have to live in a constant fear of a terrorist attack.

We just want to make a difference in the lives of if not America's Youth then Bel Air's youth. I propose we put either a traffic light at the intersection, a Traffic Guard, or a stop sign on each corner. These will help us cross safely and better our futures.
