Because of the varied health concerns in most of the residents at the Grand Traverse Commons 630 Lofts , i believe that smoking in the 100 year old building, where the doors are not sealed into each apartment and second hand smoke can freely enter each apartment of a non smoker, should not be allowed.
Residents can smoke outside in a designated area away from the building. I understand they have rights as well, but endangering others with second hand smoke is not a right.
As a resident with severe asthma after over 20 years of smoking myself I am very much aware of the long term side affect of smokers and second hand smoke.
We, the undersigned, call on the Minervini Group to please stop the smoking in resident apartments in the 630 Loft apartments.
