It was with unbelievable astonishment that on the 14th May '08 I watched the scenes of utter violence and wanton bigotry and hatred unfold before my eyes during and after one of Europe's premier football events the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester.
As firstly an avid football supporter and secondly as a proud Irishman I was sickened at how in this day and age people no animals can be allowed get away with such behaviour and bigotry.
I listened as they sang pro UVF shouts and the song about the Famine and how it was over why don't the Irish diaspora go home! Now it seems UEFA have distanced themselves and said what goes on outside the stadium is not their responsibilty well I say YES it is!
After violence and destruction throughout this Euorpean campaign by Rangers Football Supporters and having being fined already for anti catholic songs its time for UEFA to stand up and be counted.
This petition is to ask for UEFA to make a stance towards Glasgow Rangers Football Club against the scenes witnessed in Manchester, Bremen, Barcelona and to the bigoted anti Irish chants that are still being sung at every Rangers game Home and Away!
Enough is enough please lets see some action and ban them from Europe! Please sign and pass on..
