Petition Background (Preamble):
The infamous Child Beauty Pageants have been going on since the 1920s but have only become popular in the past few years.
The are no different to any other beauty pageant such as Miss Universe or Victoria Secret... except children are being used as the models.
This greatly over-sexualises our children and can onset many psychological problems. The worst thing is, these children sometimes do not have a say.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Australian government to prohibit Child Beauty Pageants from being held in Australia.
