The cost of dental care in Australia is a huge issue for thousands of families. Low-income earners can access free care, but waiting lists can take years. The alternative is to foot the often enormous bill yourself.
Even private health insurance doesn't cover all the costs that can be incurred. The current state of our dental system has left many wondering why, in a prosperous country like Australia, so many people can be left behind.
