The Fontana City Council and Planning Commission are considering approving a project titled "Arboretum Specific Plan". This project consist of building cluster homes, high density dwellings (apartments), small single family homes on 5,000, 6,000 and 7,000 square foot lots.
This project claims it will enhance the theme of the surrounding communities although the surrounding communities do not have high density dwellings. The construction of small high density dwellings will impact the value of our homes negatively.
In an effort to eliminate high density dwellings (apartments) and small lots, I have created a petition to re-consider the type of dwellings to be constructed within this development or project.
If you agree with the rejection of building high density dwellings (apartments) and small homes on small lots, please sign this petition to voice your concern to the Planning Commission and to the City of Fontana City Council.
We the residents of Fontana call upon the City of Fontana Planning Commission and City Council to eliminate the approval of building high density dwellings and small homes on small lots within the Arboretum Specific Plan. We request that the construction of detached large homes on a minimum of 10,000 square foot lots replace the high density dwellings units.
