Background (Preamble):
Aramark has provided the food services at all four MacEwan campuses since 2005, and since 2005 Aramark has charged students a .35 cent debit fee for every debit transaction.
Every year students ask that the debit fee be removed and, despite the best efforts of the Students' Association and the executives, every year the fee remains.
The Students' Association has negotiated with Aramark for the past 3 years to have the debit fee removed, but Aramark, along with MacEwan Administration, refuse to remove the fee. We are no longer content to sit idly by as this multinational, multi-billon dollar company continues to gouge students.
We ask for your support of this petition.
