During the October 22, 2012 presidential debate between Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama, conservative spokeswoman Ann Coulter tweeted "I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard."
Petition:
We ask that Ms. Ann Coulter apologize for her insensitive tweet during the presidential debate, for it adds nothing to our political discussion and it emboldens those full of ignorance for human life to think and act in harsh ways toward those with special needs.
