Hello everyone,
As many of us know, we have to experience and transform our darkness (personal trials and tribulation) into light. We learn, grow, and evolve from our past battles. I grew up very rough and made many mistakes in my youth. I regret none, as these experiences are responsible for molding me into the complete human I am becoming today. I regret none, but do apologize wholeheartedly for any hurt I have brought unto this world in those dark times. I am a changed man. I have learned much throughout my years. The biggest factor that contributed to my personal transformation was the many selfless acts of compassion and love I received from others throughout my life.
With all my heart I want to serve with the Peace Corps in any way I can. The Peace Corps utilizes vigorous discretion, for security and ethics purposes ,on who they send outside the United States as a Peace Corps volunteer and U.S. representative, understandably so. I humbly ask that you help support me in my pursuit of paying it forward. By signing this petition it affirms that you in your best intuition believe I Angel Ruiz, am an exemplary candidate to represent the United States and Peace Corps as a volunteer.
