Background (Preamble):
This will save lives by reducing heart attacks and stroke (by reducing stress) and increase tax revenue (without tax hikes).
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on Congress to require employers to:
1!. Make their (except health and education) employees work a maximum of 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) a week and 7 hours a day.
2!. Give their employees a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation.
3. Pay their employees a minimum wage of $21.75 an hour for non-service workers and $87 an hour for service workers.
4. To ONLY fire or lay off employees for legal reasons.
5. The minimum wage will increase with inflation.
3!. No one will get arrested for forced labor...
