Target: United States Congress
Background (Preamble):
The Star Spangled Banner Lyrics 4th Verse
By Francis Scott Key 1814

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

PURPOSE OF PETITION
For the purpose of national identity and unity we believe a declaration of our nation’s motto in the singing of the 4th verse of The Star Spangled Banner should be exercised and made of public/congressional record to further the general welfare of the citizens of the United States of America.

PLATFORMS OF US LAW AMERICA’S MOTTO CRUSADE IS FOUNDED UPON
First Amendment to the United States Constitution:
“ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
