We believe it is student's right to wear hats in school. The rule banning hats in schools is out dated and unnecessary, as society has evolved rules and customs have changed drastically, for example, wearing hats inside of a building is no longer a sign of disrespect to others.
If we cannot express our selves it is an infringement on our rights, its unconstitutional.
Wearing hats doesn't inhibit the educational value of school.
We, the undersigned, call the Meade County school board to allow hats in Sturgis Brown High School.
