Allow Student Prayer in Our Schools

Target: United States Government
Background (Preamble):
Currently, there is a law in all public school systems of the United States of America that prohibits prayer by students.

The current law states that "Students have the right to pray individually or in groups or to discuss their religious views with their peers so long as they are not disruptive."

What defines disruptive? "In the classroom students have the right to pray quietly except when required to be actively engaged in school activities." What defines "actively engaged"?

Petition:
We, the undersigned, formally request that the Gov't of the United States of America adjust the Law against religion in our public schools.

We request that they allow public prayer and not prohibit teachers from following their religious affiliations.

We request that teachers be allowed to refer to the theory of evolution "as science" in order to protect their religious views.

We, the undersigned, formally request these issues be fixed with common sense and the utmost of respect to religion, no matter what religion it be, for this country was founded upon religious freedom.
