Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer reach millions of freedom-loving people across the globe. Pamela Geller has rescued girls from certain death and paid homage to those who perished in the desire to be free from slavery. Robert Spencer is a world-renowned authority whose family suffered in the Middle East where he originates from.
While Islamic hate preachers come to the UK to preach wife-beating and anti-semitism in mosques, we in the UK are entitled to know what threats these people and their followers are to our country.
Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer only speak the truth, and for that there is nothing to fear.
We, the undersigned, do petition The Right Honourable Theresa May MP the Home Secretary and the Right Honourable David Cameron, Prime Minister, to reverse their decision to ban the two civil rights speakers, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer from the UK.
In your letter to Ms Geller you inform her of the "Unacceptable Behaviour Policy" And yet you do NOT apply those parameters to Anjem Chaudary and others who call for the murder and beheading of British Troops. Why is it acceptable to have a website, proscribed according to your terms, called islamicemergencydefence.com which is clearly vigilantism and illegal, a leader of a group, Anjem Chaudary who, according to your terms, "foments and justifies terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs, and to seek to provoke others to serious criminal acts"?
Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer are law abiding and have never been involved in any violence or incitement. They are journalists and authors of the highest calibre.
It is pure hypocrisy to ban them.
